WHY JOIN THE TEAM AT PERSON CARE?

Person centred care should not just be in relation to our clients but to our carers also. We understand the importance of the services we provide to not only our clients and their families but equally so to our team members.

From our experience, observations and feedback from both clients and their families over time, we have realised that major changes need to be made in the private homecare sector. Some of the changes we feel are truly necessary are in the areas of the cost of care to families, carers remuneration and placement of carers with the most suitable client on a personal level. Person Care strives to pay carers a fair salary commensurate to the level of care they give. We also invest the time getting to know both the carers and clients so they will be suitably matched. We aspire to create an environment where both carers and clients thoroughly enjoy each other’s company and as such makes every day brighter.

REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A TEAM MEMBER:

  • QQI Level 5 in healthcare

  • Previous work experience in the sector

  • Garda Vetting

  • Manual Handling Certificate

  • Full clean drivers licence

  • Live within 20 kms of Carlow
